A nine-phase engineering roadmap

A forward-looking roadmap adapted from the Cardio AI Ring development presentation. Phases are planning categories, not a statement that all stages are complete.

01 / Hardware

Bench sensor validation and timestamped signal capture

02 / Innovation & design

Define system architecture and evidence policies

03 / Firmware + AI

Acquisition, signal processing and (AI) TinyML research

04 / Integration

Combine sensor and decision pipelines

05 / AI optimization

Evaluate baselines, quality and false alarms

06 / Miniaturization

Investigate custom PCB, power and wearable fit

07 / Mobile app

Explore secure connectivity and user interface

08 / Validation

Reference comparisons, safety and clinical evidence planning

09 / Manufacturing

Design-for-manufacture and pilot production planning

Engineering principles

Current work includes prototype sensor characterization, timing and artifact investigation, and embedded design. Future work may include single-ring miniaturization, structured algorithm evaluation, human studies and regulatory planning.

Specific circuitry, implementation pseudocode, patent application numbers, and internal cost estimates are intentionally not published here.

Cardio AI Ring is an experimental research-stage concept. It is not clinically validated to diagnose or predict cardiac conditions, is not FDA-cleared, and must not be relied on for medical decisions or emergency monitoring.

Prototype to validation

Engineering the future, one measured milestone at a time.

Illustrative prototype concept. Device performance and medical applications remain under investigation.
